2nd horn
« on: May 08, 2014, 09:27:43 PM »
For my second horn I wanted to try my hand at an octagonal throat and spout.  Horn had a lot of color for scrim, but wanted to try it anyway.  Horn measures 12 1/2" on the outside curve.  Plug is carved walnut with staple.

Super nice horn Jerry.  You're already good at it.
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

Good work. Keep it up.  Let's call this hobby enticing. Not really addictive. Probably better than cigarettes or booze.

That is a super looking horn and I especially like the historical reproductions of the segmented snake. Wasn't that printed in  a pamphlet by Ben Franklin? Very nice work.
