Southern Rifle - Unknown Maker

This gun is currently for sale in the gun library at Cabelas in Dundee, MI.  They don't know anything about it.  Barrel is 41 inches, about 36 caliber.  Fore end is triangular in cross section.  No visible markings on barrel and they said they have not had it apart.  Lock appears to be original to gun and has some writing forward of cock below drum partially obscured by erosion.  Fore-end has been repaired at least once and has some further damage.  Price is pretty reasonable IMO but I am not an expert collector.  PM me if you wish for further information, I will try to get it, I am only 15 minutes away.
