Can someone walk me through the process of starting a poll? Third grade level, please. I cannot find the **** poll button to start.

Ezra,
When you are on the page where you see "New Topic". look directly to the right. There should be a button for "New Pole". Click that and you are there.

I followed your directions but there's no button to the right of the "New Topic" button my screen. The only buttons I have are "Mark as Read", "Notify" and "New Topic".

Ez, when you open THIS topic, look at the bar at the top right. It should say 'reply', '+ Poll', 'notify', 'send topic', 'Print'.

You can add a poll to a topic.

So create your topic, like "what's you favorite wood", when complet, hit 'POST"

Then open that post, and on the top right you should see '+ Poll'

Make sense?

Well I must be the other blind mouse as I don't see the poll button either and I wanted to start a poll as well. I suppose I'll just start a new topic and wait for any responses? Any help would be appreciated.

I've never contemplated starting a poll, but it's good thing because it doesn't seem to be an option on my screen either.

I tried it and it works like a charm. I am not an administrator or moderator either, just an ordinary member. I went by the instructions that Acer posted in reply #3.

The topic has been read 418 times, figure everyone has read it three times, that would make it 137 people, 17 people voted, roughly 12-13%. That means around 87-88% have no opinion. Hey, this is just like one of those TV polls!!
