Cut agate flints

Where can I purchase cut agate flints?
Previously I got knapped flints by Rich Pierce, they were great........sadly my supply has run out.
I have used cut agate flints and got great results.
I do hope someone can help me out.

Check Buffalo Arms co. and Dixie Gun works.

And, what width Rich Pierce Flints did you use? I may have a few (very few) around in some miscellaneous stuff a friend gave me.

I have some cut agate flints as well as some "small" knapped ones like Rick did.
Need some sizes.

Hey there Fred, I have a friend that owns KentuckyFlintWorks,his name is Dennis Kearns,he knaps gun flints the old way.he is a good guy & he will work with you, I also make flints, I just don't have a large quantity of them made, if your just needing a handful let me know,

Just throwing this out there.  Track of the Wolf has black English Flints.  I switched back to them after Rich had to call her quits on what he was making.  Rich made @!*% good flints!

I've had very good luck with black English flints over the years.  I've tried cut flints without much luck at getting reliable sparking from them, but it could be just the ones I had.  My results with the French amber flints has been mixed.  They seemed either to last forever or shatter quickly.  They may be more brittle than the black English flints.  Results for others may vary.  So I'll stick with the black English flints myself.

 I use both types of flints in new locks when I send them to buyers.
 The cut flints from Guenter Stifter in Germany were by far the best
 and he made a big one for me from Carneleon which has crossed
  pistols on one side and an inscription on the other.
 Yesterday Larry Vaden and I went to Friendship and the weather was nicer than usual
but started heating up about 4PM.I bought some old American made end mills still in the
cylinders they came in.They were made by Morse and at $5 each they were a real bargain.
I bought 10 of them and told Larry Zornes about the rest and he bought them.
We used the AA Highway across Northern Kentucky and it's a beautiful drive that terminates at the
outer belt around Cincinnati and that will dump us off on US50 West.
