drilled through a Chambers brass lock plate with a 9/64ths..
drilled through the breech plug.out the other side
all was going well...used a 11/64ths to drill through
the stock,,from the side plate side.. to enlarge the hole,,
the larger lock bolt im useing for this foweler needed slightly bigger hole,,
used a 3/16ths..it caught the lock plate and went right through..
careful as i was..wasnt good enough... now i have a 3/16ths hole in
lock plate..
any ideas?

Weld it up and redrill. I do it all the time.......sad but true!

Peen in a piece of soft brass rod real tight. You could even solder it as well. redrill and tap. Bob

 Thread the hole to 12x24 or 12x28.

I have a lathe, so I would do as Mr. Roller has said...tap the hole 12 x 24 and make a matching screw.  Anymore, I find myself making all my tang and lock screws/bolts.

You can get a 6mm1 lock bolt from track of the wolf. It will have a 7/16 head on it, but you can turn it down on a drill press to match a 10/32 lock bolt head. I made a similar mistake and found this was a very easy fix.
