Tiny lock

Just received this today from a forum member.  It measures 3.75 inches in length.  Superb quality in fit, finish and function.  I don't know who made it but, they did a fantastic job.  Now all I have to do is wrap some wood and furniture around it.  Would like to hear some ideas.

My little fellow is now29 years old and is 6 ft. 5 in.  I'll have to opt for something else.

Grandchildren, Ed, grandchildren. A friend made a lock nearly exactly the same, and then used an old .22lr barrel and built a little trade gun around it. After teaching his son with it, it introduced MANY kids to shooting with smoke, soot, and stink.

Or a tiny pistol?

These little locks are like a lady's watch.A booger to make.
What is the tumbler on this one made from?I hope I'm  seeing
tempering colors and not a bronze tumbler.
If someone wants to make a .22 caliber muzzle loading pistol
for a youngster,I have a section of barrel,microgroove Marlin
I will donate for the price of postage.It's a round barrel and some
one with a little imagination can turn it down a bit for 6 or 7 inches
and then make the rest an octagon shape.

I contacted blacksmoke and he had it made by a backyard engineer 30 years ago.

Stan Hollenbaugh  makes an excellent little lock that is only a 1/4 inch or so bigger than this one..I have two that I am using for a pair of 1/2 scale rifles.  Stan's phone:

Thanks, DaveC2.  I bought some parts from Stan.   They were perfect for a project I had a while back.
