Anybody have any info on him. I have been approached by someone who has the opportunity to take possession of a chunk gun with this name on the bottom of the barrel.

The pics he texted me showed a "Tennessee style" caplock, walnut stocked rifle. He said it had a 48"x1 1/4 barrel. he didn't mention the caliber but I'd guess 45 or 50.

Interesting.   When I used to attend the Alvin York chunk gun shoot, we would be driving west on Rt. 40, about 50 miles
west of Knoxville we would come to the town of Crossville, then head north about 40 miles to the York homestead.  I wonder
if this gun ever made that trip to compete against Alvin and his cronies.............Don
