Saw in the Dec 2019 edition of Man at Arms Magazine an ad by Morphy's Auctions with some very nice long rifles and some flint pistols. The auction will be Jan 16 2020.

Joe Puleo has an outstanding article titled The British Volunteer Musket in the Dec 2019 issue.

Also, I was saddened to read in that issue that Herbert Houze passed away. He had an extensive and distinguished career in the British Military and many other successful stints as curator of not a few famous firearms collection including the Cody Firearms Museum.

As many of you know, Herbert was the New Book Reviewer for Man at Arms Magazine for many years.

Stuart Mowbray dedicated his complete Editorial in the December issue to Herbert. You should read it.
