Hi Rick,

I moved your post out of Jim Kibler's lock casting thread in the For Sale section, since it wasn't related to purchasing his lock castings.  I believe your post is a better fit in Gun Building section.

I would suggest you send an email or a PM to Jim Kibler.  He may be able to point you to a casting house.

Yep, sure can. I use this company.
 Mastercraft Inc
 420 Highway 64 E
 Bald Knob, AR  72010
 (501) 724-6106

Even though I have small orders they will put mine in with another order that is using the same alloy. I have them cast both brass/steel tg's and bp's. Both are easily bent cold if need be. Their brass is top notch, its the nice soft bendable brass we all look for.

You might call John Anderson, he's listed in MuzzleBlasts for Elk River Longrifles contact.  He builds/shoots and has had a few castings made.  Tip Curtis might also tell you who casts his stuff.

The last time I wanted master craft to cast some parts for me they refused to do small orders. I was willing to pay whatever. Did not matter. I had to send my waxes to England. It cost me over $4000.00

MOST of the cast parts for muzzle loaders I have seen from the Foggy Isles weren't
useable for my purposes.Probably are only for restoration.
Speaking of substandard cast parts,I have 2 "Hawkenish"steel or iron trigger guards I don't need
or want. I have NO idea who made them or where I got them. I know I didn't buy them and I am
sure I didn't steal them so $10 will get them both and almost $6 of that will be for USPS Flat Rate.

I know John had a "small" run of parts done fairly recently.  He had been put off by the "mass quantities" required, but something happened and the foundry was willing to do a small batch (i didn't ask how small, just smiled and got my parts).  This was all in the last couple of years.  If i were looking to get parts cast, I'd holler at John.

(they are just as good as any i got from Tip, and i intend to buy more from John.)

steel parts that is.

That would upset me! Never had a problem, just took a little longer than if I had ordered enough for a run. They just wait until they have another run of the same metal.

They have my molds and they do the wax injection so that might help.

18th Century Hardware , have to Google the location on the East Coast. They have done sand castings from my master for custom hardware on furniture.
