I had the pleasure of getting to know George when he was in his late '70s and was just bowled over by his craftsmanship. I had the opportunity to handle a swivel bbl rifle he built as his representation of a Tim Murphy gun.
unfortunately, George has long since passed, and his guns are probably scattered to the winds so I thought I'd see if anyone here has any recollection of him.
