Many years ago, at Friendship, I was standng y the L & R  Lock Co. booth, and L.C.Rice
was behind the counter.  I had purchased a Durs Egg lock from L.C. and I asked him
what size flint to use in it.  His reply was "doesn't matter, it will chew down to size"....
