Jim, did you use a jig of some sort to make those 22.5 degree flats, or just superhuman precision? Those flats flow so nicely into the curved transitions. Round file plus flat file? Did you use stones to final finish those details?

Thanks everyone.  I really am glad you enjoy this.  It takes some time, but I like doing it.  As to the filed flats, they're not too hard.  Just a  couple of files and some stones  or abrasive paper to clean things up.  One tidbit that helps with these sorts of things is to file the stop radius at the end first with a round or half round file and then go to the flat file.
