Gerald Neaves on the blog today

I saw this miniature rifle at the TN show last year, it is great. The original that Gerald used as a guide was also there. We took the miniature and placed it with the original and WOW.

Gerald made all the parts including the lock and yes it can and has been fired. Just a wonderful piece. This is just one of several miniatures that Gerald has made.

Gerald did some incredible work on the miniatures he made, I've seen several of them and they're all top notch.

Gerald is a friend of mine from some years back, he and I were in the Army Security Agency, I met him at a ASA reunion about 12 or so years back. I had no idea at that time that he built muzzleloaders, I was surprised to meet him again at the Norris Show. Those miniatures were extremely well done and Gerald had an original Tennessee rifle at the show that was a knockout too.
