For those that would like to see what one of the gun photos looks like in this book you can visit the Kentucky Rifle Foundation Facebook page. I posted a scan of the J.P. Beck rifle that is featured on the front cover. There is also some information about the book.
The website is:  https://www.facebook.com/kentuckyriflefoundation

I looked at the photo samples on the KRF facebook page.   I will probably order the book, but the photos shown are not as well lighted as I would like.       However. that is only a small sample and it is a low res photo on Facebook.   How does this book compare to the Moravian book by the same publisher using mostly Craig McDougal's photography?

Mark, I laid both books out on the counter, under the same lighting, and would have to say they're about equal. Each book has a few pictures that could be thought of as a bit dark. And each book has pictures that are about perfectly lite and printed.
Consider that almost none of these guns are actually the same color when held in hand, some being much darker than others.
All considered, I have no complaints and think the book a great addition to my library.

Mark,
Who cares? You need to find a photography forum and discuss it there. The books good.
