The smallest Tanner mould I have, is .595". I cannot imagine using one smaller- but, with oddball sizes, he might be the only venture.

A .410"mold sounds as if for a .410 bore that someone rifled - or for an original .42 cal rifle with narrow grooves?

Daryel The bbl is a Jenkins from Kentucky. It was a 40 cal and he recut it to 42 cal. Many years ago Bill Large cut several molds out for me and I was hoping to cherry a .395 Lyman dual cavity out to .410, however I will most likely get one from Jeff. Joe

I got a .990" from him.  It is very nice.  The price was a bargain.

I have a Jeff Tanner mold I bought a pretty long time ago.  The price was both a surprise and a delight.  It's a .590" and is excellent.  I received it so quickly I thought it must have been sent local.  He's just that fast and that good.

Little Joe,
What does the 42 cal barrel mike across the lands? If it is a few thousands over you may be able to use a .420 mold? If so I have a .420" Lyman mold I could be talked out of.
