Early Philly Style Horn
« on: March 09, 2015, 04:04:23 PM »
It is 13” around the outside curve, TTT about 11 ½. The Maple base is about 2 ½”, hollowed out about 3/4s its length, held in by 4 Steel pins that also hold the band in place. The tip is about 2 ¼” and the collar about 1”. The horn is threaded 5/8-11. Color is AF with Brown shoe polish.

Tim,

I love this horn...especially the collar and then whole tip.  Beautiful work.

Tim, I agree with everyone else, you really did great on this horn.  One of these days I will attempt an internal thread screw tip and just hope that it will come out half as good.
Well done, my friend, well done.
