To the best of my knowledge, you can't do it yourself.  To get an item on there, it must be  emailed  to Art or Jan, unless it is something they have found to put on there.   So if you have something you want on there, take the photos & write up whatever you want to say of it & email it to them.
From what I have experienced, it could be up quickly or sometimes later on, seems to depend on the volume of things they have to put there, and also I think they like to keep a good variety as to keep it fresh & inspiring & cover all areas.  I think it is an Awesome blog & look forward to looking at it several times a day.

Who is "Art or Jan"?

Art and Jan Riser, the folks that own the Contemporary Makers Blog.

Guys - you can also post comments on the items displayed on the Blog Spot below each posting and Art and Jan would welcome comments.  If you enjoy the website, let them know that too - Art posts on here quite a bit so you can even pull up his profile for e-mail or send him a PM.  Jan spends many, many hours photographing these items at shows and organizing photos sent to them by others, and it gives a chance for those of us who miss an event to get a good look at the highlights.

Jan goes well above and beyond to put GOOD items on this site. Go to a CLA show, you will see Jan shooting pics, using the most primitive copy stand, the floor. If any one needs to be told thanks, its Art and Jan.

Once again, great job Art & Jan. Truly enjoy your time spent photographing and posting of subjects selected for the blog. AJ

Many powder horns on the site made by some of our friends.  Is Jim Hays on the Contemporary Makers blog the same as J Stephen Hayes of Springfield KY?

Wish they had more information. Love the site and try to search it every day.

Just one more of his super guns.    On another site a gentleman inquired about John Bivins.   All you have to do is look
at Kibler's stuff, and say, this is what John Bivins did.    I often told Jim that he is "Bivins" re-born......Don

I made the blog spot my internet homepage. I got tired of missing cool stuff so now it opens up when I turn on the internet and I see it when it's hot off the press.
