Never heard of it. What is it? And where did you see it?

According to their Web sight it is a leather conditioning product made from a "Amber Tree Sap" . ???

Popular with woods workers and Forest Service types out west to put on leather boots as  waterproofing and a conditioner.

I have used it on leather boots just like its intended for and it does a fine job but I have never thought of it as a lube. As for me I think I will stick with good ole homemade bear grease ;D

I don't think I would put anything with tree sap or resins in my gun barrel. Bear grease, and venison, or mutton tallow, is what I use, and haven't found anything better. Some of this exotic/oddball patch lube is flat out dangerous in hot dry climates. The flash point of some of this stuff is way too close to a low grade propellant for comfort. Fighting fire with a powder horn around my neck is not my idea of fun. just sayin'.
