veg tanned leather

How do you make vegetable tanned leather more pliable after staining a bag? Any information would be helpful. Thanks

I'll usually sit in front of the tv, and crumple and wring the leather back and forth and work in all different directions until its nice and soft and supple. Then i oil it really good and , and work it some more.

Or you can buy the drum milled veg tan at Tandy.  Now on sale, 3-4 oz veg kip (calf) hides.

Put it on the dryer NO HEAT!!!!! FLUFF ONLY!!!!! with a couple tennis balls or old shoes.  Noisy but effective.
