That's a nice looking rifle, but I don't understand the attraction to A weight barrels in .40 caliber. They may be lighter to carry in the woods all day but IMHO don't have the up front weight to hold as steady for target shooting as a B weight in .40 caliber. I've recently had the opportunity to handle a nearly identical rifle to this one but with a B weight .40 caliber Rice barrel and it holds very steady and is nicely balanced. To each his own, whatever floats your boat, etc., but I prefer a B weight in .40 caliber for a target rifle.
