I would bet the owner of that shop can put his hands on any tool he needs fairly quickly. It is all in remembering where it was last placed.

I see what looks like a block of Styrofoam with tools sticking in it.....wow....that might be a good idea. Next chunk of Styrofoam I see, I will mount on the back of my bench and see what happens.

You passed fantastic English china and Chinese antiques. You got out of breath climbing to the attic shop. You probably admired curly gold wire on the first landing. You were within twenty miles of a great deal of early colonial and Rev War history. And you were in heaven. All at the same time. The entire experience is wonderful, isn't it?

I think the styrofoam is maybe wax, looks a bit top heavy.

I'd say that pretty accurately describes the experience Bill. Certainly a visit I will not soon forget. Seeing my father interact with an old friend, all of us (myself, my brother and my father) wide eyed in wonderment, all the while swapping stories, is a priceless memory I will cherish until the end of my days.
