Runar:  Due to a too thick web on a precarved stock, I had to lower a ramrod channel 5mm.  I used your drill for a router trick, and it worked great.  The only warning is that the bit tries to grab the curl on maple.  Have to be careful or the bit will jump and run.  Great idea.  Thanks.

Bayonet socket? made and silversolder to the barrel,you see the Bayonet is missing the catch.

The original frizzen have halvsole hard solder to frizzen. But I use the easy way, reading here http://americanlongrifles.org/forum/index.php?topic=15471.0 and in Muzzleloader March/April 2011 By Robert Mims and Fred Stutzenberger (Sole Food for Frizzens) So here is phothos, and its sparks like $#*! ;)

Touch Hole drilled 2mm, so I like my tapered reamer made after Jack Brooks artikel in Muzzle Blasts May 2013 :)

Excellent work.That turned out good I like it.Thats a lot of work making all the bands and the springs.What kind of stain and finish do you think you will use.Thanks for taking the time to post all the pictures.I really enjoy youre posts.

thimble rig, #1 blac walnut water stain #2 walnut spirit stain and #3  Danish oil :) And my finish on metal and wood is I will call it working finish ;)
Marcruger, maby a pistol, rifle or a double flintlock shotgun etc ;)
Ok, here is the musket done. The original Swede M 1815 in photo have several differents  loock at the innvard cheakpease maby the Swede is more big mouthed hehe!
