Who made this lock?

Here is a lock that I have had for awhile but I can not remember where I picked it up or bought it. It is a very well made lock and is stamp R&R on the inside of the plate. I would love to pick up another on of these so if you guys can help me remember who made this lock I would appreciate it. This lock has a slot milled into the center of the tumber for the fly, this is a much better system than on some of the other locks.
Bob Roller is this one of your locks?

It looks like one of the locks that Rice Barrel co had for sale at Dixon's last summer. BJH

The internals look like L&R Durs Egg. Maybe it's a composite.

R&R is definitely a rice barrel product. Not sure if it is still available
The Rice brothers were the original owner of L&R locks so not surprising there would be similarities

Like Don said definitely by the Rice Bros. LC and Liston. If I am not mistaken this is the same lock that Liston had for sale at the CLA show this past summer. He found several locks and a couple of double set triggers that were packed away.
I wish I had bought one or two of the locks but someone else did before I finally made up my mind to buy them.

Thanks everyone, I figured it was a Rice but I could not remembered where I picked it up at. To bad they don't make these anymore, it is a nice lock. I am using it on a current project and I sure would like to have another to replace it with.

Jim
Liston Rice and a friend designed and made this lock. I don't think Rice barrels was involved or at least Jason who now owns Rice barrels probably wasn't involved. Back on Aug. 23 this lock was discussed on the forum. I will give you the same advice I gave then be careful the bolster is short and lock bolt placement must be carefully planned or you will have a problem. The arc of the tumbler arm limits the length of the bolster. Tim
