Barrel Weights
« on: October 27, 2015, 10:45:23 PM »
From Rice Barrel Company's website

Note: On the Rice chart the weights are not decimal figures,  ex 3.5 = 3 lbs 5 ounces.     3.14 lbs = 3 lbs 14 ounces.

The Rice chart on the English Sporting Rifle barrel does not make sense.

The "D" weight .54 and .58 barrels outweigh the "D" weight .50 caliber> :o

This gets me excited again about building a Southern Classic barreled deer rifle. Wish I had started one this summer so I could use it this year! My Guns are getting heavier every year.

That explains it. Thanks for clarifying that.
