A collector of southern rifles, John Ashworth

Most people who collect Southern rifles, Bowie Knives, saddles and some other things, have at least heard of John Ashworth. I am sorry to have to say that he died today. John was a long time friend, a great collector and a true Southern Gentleman. I will miss him greatly.. Louie Parker

Louie,  In the thirty years I've known you John's name has come up often in our conversations. If I remember correctly some of the stories  of things he said or did were on the funny side.   I believe you even  sold me a rifle from his collection one time .
