New rifle from Joe Schell.

Here is the latest rifle from the shop of Joe Schell.  42"  B weight .40cal. with an L&R/ Roller lock.  Just picked it up on Fri.  A nicely done Carolina swivel box.

I had my doubts about the weight of a B weight .40, but I had already bought the parts.  Turns out it holds well and doesn't wobble on target.  I have a few more pics on my blog.  They are easier to post there.  www.bricestultzhisblog.blogspot.com.

Deep River style rifles sure seem to be getting the attention they deserve. I don't think I'd heard of the style until 2 or 3 years ago. This is a nice one. Maybe someday...

As far as I know he made all the mounts.  I furnished the triggers.  I am impressed by lack of extra wood on sides of the barrel channel.  I measured 1/8" on the side flats.  I will  be very cautious if I need to remove the barrel.

1.Upload your pictures to a photo hosting website, like PhotoBucket, TinyPic, etc.  Stay logged on to the photo hosting site.
2. Open ALR in a second window, log in and start a new topic.
3. To put a picture in your topic, look above for the "Add BBC tags" buttons.  Click on the second button, in the second row.  It looks like a little picture.  This will add the necessary IMG tags.
4. Go to the photo hosting site and copy the link to the first picture you want to put on ALR.
5. Go to ALR and paste the link in the middle of the IMG tags.
6. Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 to add additional photo's.
7. Please don't delete your linked pictures off the hosting site.  If you do, the pictures will disappear from ALR

For beginning picture posters ALR doesn't store our pictures.  They have to be stored elsewhere and accessed by ALR using the address.  I use www.tinypic.com.  Upload your picture to your preferred site and look for the "Message board and forum"  address.  Copy and paste it using iloco's procedure.  I also resize the upload to keep from oversizing ALR post.  The easiest way for multiple pictures is to open two pages.  ALR on one and the pic site on the other.  Clicking the the ALR site image icon will put IMG limters on for you, but so will your storage site.  You only need one  on each end of the address.  Notice that the first is "IMG", and the last is "/IMG" with the slash.  The square brackets are required, but they messed up my post.
