I am not qualified to make a "collectors" opinion or comment. But from my own tastes, this has all kinds of appeal. I love the plainer, less heavily decorated guns; they allow the architecture to speak more clearly. The patchbox is pure elegance. The toe plate is a joy. The cheekpiece is so restrained. And the butt profile, almost bold, but not overstated. This is a rifle for a thoughtful connoisseur who will love it more as he spends more time with it.
