 Well, I call them Jaegers. I don't know what the Russians called them. They were on the same style and made in the same time frame. A lot of them were made in the rococo at style. Some of the Russian artists rivaled the French. Think Faberge or look up guns in the Hermitage

Beautiful, Jerry, can't wait to see the end results!  There were "Jaegers" built all over Europe.  Some of the Russian work I've seen is just spectacular!

Some of the presentation pieces done for the csars or given to the royalty of Europe as gifts are works of art.Wonder how many where destroyed during the revolution when the communists sacked all the palaces,ect thinking the works of art ect. where signs of the wealthy upperclass.
