Ask Rick Weber. He has a fine one.

thanks for the help, but I have already talked to Rick, his has a ramrod and these in the picture have a ram rod.

The noses are typical much different for those rifles that are a pure target rifle, vs. those that have a ram rod and can be used for target and sporting purposes.

SO, still looking if anyone can help.

Thanks

Art,
The two position Alex Henry rifles do not have a ramrod.  They have a horn tip on the forend.  Bill Roberts had one but I dont know if Al still has it.  Rick would know.
Anyway there are several pictures of these rifles on the net if that style is what you are looking for.

I THINK the target styles of Henry and other Long Range Match Rifles have a horn forearm cap that looks about like the ones seen on modern bolt action rifles.

a member on this list was kind enough to send me some pictures, and that is exactly what I needed.

My rifle has a horn tip, but I was wanting to shape it so that it looked like a AH nose.  I was thinking about leaving it simply tapered and 99.9% of the people would never notice.

Got to make it look nice, it as a Roller lock after all.

But I would know.

Thanks

Thanks to a ALR member for shooting me some pictures, I was able to finish the nose as it should be.
