SKetch books ?
« on: February 24, 2016, 10:58:37 PM »
Can anyone recommend  a good  mountain   man or rifleman of the 18th century  (no particular  period) sketch book? I've not been too happy about the ones I've purchased.

The frontier rifleman by lacrosse, Jr was  okay the history   part was great but it seemed lacking  in the sketches .

Frontier  living by tunis, same thing great for the history  but the sketches were very small  and lc king as well.

A shinning  time vol 3 the dragoon by Ted spring was great, plenty of detail lots of sketches, I'm hoping  that a similar  book exists on the mountain  man or rifleman .  Any help would be greatly  appreciated .
