W. Raymond side hammer rifle

This is my first post here - but i've read through enough threads to know I like the site.
In the book "The Muzzle Loading Cap Lock Rifle" by Ned Roberts, on page 174, there is a picture of a mule ear rifle. It isn't the greatest picture, but I sure like that gun! I would like to know more about the maker and/or the rifle. I did find an old thread on here that talked about a Hiram Raymond from Albion, New York who might be W. Raymond. Does anyone know any more about this?
Thanks,
Jim S.

W. Raymond, Albion NY made at least two pill lock arms that I have seen.

Best source is: The New York State Firearms Trade, five volumes,Holman J. Swinney, compiled by Tom Rowe   ©2003

I believe the mule-ear lock was invented  by Ephraim Gilbert, Rochester, NY. Patent granted April 3, 1829
