It's finally April and I for one am anxiously awaiting my Kibler sothern rifle kit. Has anyone taken delivery? Jim, if you're reading, what's the status?

I communicated with Katherine yesterday. She said Jim is in production as of yesterday and kits will be starting out the door this week.

Talked to Jim and Katherine a few days ago. Mine should ship in the next week or so....I have a rifle refinishing project I am currently working on, one Chambers Early Virginia kit still in the box, and I am considering jumping my Kibler SMR to the head of the line

...........I'm bad.....

Me too. Going to do the same thing. Jim Kibler's kit will be the number 1 priority.

Hey guys. Things are good. I've begun running stocks for shipment this week. I will ship all kits for a weeks production at one time . So kits run this week will ship either on Saturday or more likely Monday morning.

So... Those that ordered early will see them soon!

I think you all will be pleased. It has taken a little bit longer to get things going than I anticipated, but I've been very focused on making everything as perfect as possible.

Isnt that something, a bunch grown men getting all excited about a new rifle kit.he he he.I know I cant wait to get mine.I don't know how many he sold but there was a butt load of trigger gaurds and butt plate waxes laying out on those tables waiting to be sent out.Im glad hes doing good.

To me it's fantastic. Because you start with a correctly styled rifle. Yet you have room to personalize it. Doesn't get any better than that! Maybe we could have a forum for personalised Kibler kit rifles?

Depends on the "personalization"......could be too scary to see.

This sounds like a great kit and I don't have one ordered yet but for those who seek different schools style, lets not forget that we have Chambers and others who make great kits with quality parts also.

Maybe those who hang around here for a while will tend to keep their "customizing" in tune with the piece and not-so-scary. Will be interesting no doubt.

If Wyoming jack rabbits are as big as the ones I used to see when I lived in Arizona, I hope you ordered a .40 caliber rifle

There's even some guy called Dennis Glazener that sells several NC mountain rifle kits....

Yep, she's a 40. These jacks aren't as big as the AZ variety but they're a fun target. Also lots of cottontails around here. That will by far be the smallest caliber smokepole I've owned.

Montana doesn't seem to have any "real" squirrels either. What folks here call a squirrel is nothing more than a long tailed, sassy, Chipmunk. It would take a dozen of them to make a meal...We do have cottontails the size of small dogs and tons of other game animals. Twice a year, I journey to Iowa/Missouri to hunt the squirrels of my youth. They are larger than your average house cat and WAY tastier !!

My Kibler SMR will be a .36 and with any luck will be used this fall on Missouri Tree Rats! Oh yes...I'm very excited!!!
