Someone had asked what woodlife is here; but I can't locate that question. I'll put the reply here.
I had stated that I used woodlife in end grain of the butt - lock mortise etc carefully since it bleeds thru. Woodlife is made by DAP and is or was available in hardware stores. But it has been awhile.
