Here is a Draft ALR Tent schedule. ALR members are putting on short demonstrations throughout the weekend of the Fair, at the white tent up on the hill below the blacksmith shop. These demonstrations are in addition to various demonstrations and full schedule of seminars that Dixon's puts on. Vendors and artisans round out the weekend. This is total bliss for anyone interested in muzzleloading.

9 am Gunsmithing tips
John Cholin, aka Long John, will talk about ‘fixing inletting mistakes’ and ‘making scrapers’. John will be running the “Tips” all day long, with occasional breaks.
10 am Basic Graver sharpening and simple hammer engraving
Tom Curran, aka Acer, illustrates sharpening for the Square graver, and basics of hammer engraving.
11 am Decorative Stock Carving
Ed Wenger will demo decorative carving techniques and the tools to carve with.
12 pm Center seam Knife sheath
Eric Ewing will show the steps to making a center seam knife sheath.
1 pm Wrist and Lock panel shaping
Dave Person, ALR’s Smart Dog, will demo wrist and lock panel shaping

Dave Person, ALR’s Smart Dog, will demo making a wax model thumb piece, then casting it in Delft Clay.

12 pm Stabbing and backgrounding
Tom Currie demonstrates stabbing out a carving design and cutting away the background
1 pm Screw making; drilling and tapping
Mark Elliott shows how to drill and tap a hole and make a screw for the hole using 18th century tools and techniques. An informative demonstration of “How did they do that?”
