A Horn Posted For Kenny Nichols

Here is what he has on it.

"I wanted to share a small day horn that I recently acquired on a trip to Nebraska. It's eight inches around the curve and retains the original base plug which appears to be pine. It has some very primitive schrimshaw work which depicts a flying bird, the rising sun and a owl. It's very thin and has some of the smallest brass nails that I have ever seen. It's got a few bug bites but none of them are all the way through the horn. It's got a nice patina and a lot of character."

I'm sure that if you have any question on it he will answer them.
It looks by the size of the opening that the tip may have been cut off at the strap ring.
 Your thoughts are welcome.

Thanks for sharing with us Tim. Most of my originals are similar small horns. Seems to be what made it out here.
