Looking for any information thoughts, etc about this horn/ maker, please

oldfireguy:
Nothing on the maker but I really like the horn.  Very simple style.  The letters look like they were done with single stamp dies.

With the exception of the rear plug the design looks like a couple of originals I have.

Shreckmeister:
I would question that Risser was the maker.  This very likely could be Risser, his horn.

Hurricane ( of Virginia):
Interesting thought, Rob. Sellers does not list a Risser as a gunmaker. Other reasons one would have a stamp to personally identify "your own"  horn other than  a maker?

Rick Sheets:
In years past, folks would stamp their personal tools with their name or initials. My bet is an owner stamped his name on his property in this case his powder horn.

I could be wrong.
