Lehigh Indian Head Inlay
« on: August 03, 2016, 11:37:02 PM »
I think I'm loosing my marbles.  I remember seeing a Lehigh Indian head inlay thats already engraved, but I cannot remember where.  Does anyone have a clue as to where this could be?  Thanks!

If you check Eric von Aschwege's site (Neahkahnie Flintlocks, click the for sale tab), he sells a pewter "liberty lady". I dont know if you could use it for inlay though??

I think it's a muzzleloader builder supply
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

MBS may show one engraved, but only as an example.  Not sure how you could inlay one and maintain the engraving anyway.

Just watch "The Simpsons" and use Marge as your model. ;)

The problem with the Simpsons is that they are too close to a reality program.

Thanks guys.  That's correct, it'd be difficult at best to inlay a pre-engraved part.  I'll probably carve it.  By the way, I work with the human equivalent of Homer Simpson... >:(

I used to too. In fact I used to call him Homer.
