Transtint dye nd permalyn sealer

Has anyone tried tinting permalyn sealer with transtint or Mixol dyes?

Transtint doesn't really like to mix with Permalyn, but if you keep it stirred up well, it seems to work okay.  No experience with the Mixol.

Mixed together?  No.  But a lot of applications with Transtint first to get the color right, then sealers and topcoats afterward.
