Powder Flasks

I have been collecting powder flasks for many years on this side of the pond by British and Continental makers
these flasks come in many sizes and are made of copper, brass , and horn .Enclosed are images of just a few
Feltwad

 Those are Great, what a collection! Thanks for posting them. A question; Would/could they also have been used for shot or is that another collection?

Hi Tim
The flask display are for powder only and come in different metal  such has copper brass and horn all have a regulated spout for pouring different charges. They are not  for carrying shot ,the shot  flask s  are made from leather with a different type of measure ,see image two the right hand side one most are plain sided but some  has the one in the images have embosed game scenes on each side.Hope this has been of some help
