Got to spend about one and a half hrs in the shop today sharpening tools and trying to make a needle case it is made from horn the thread is 1/2 x 13 and has a hole drilled in that 5 /16" for your needle storage the over all length when lid is on is 4 inches now mind you I was just goofing off when making this so the threads are not perfect I have to decide if they will be worth the time making

That came out well Ed. I use the same thread on the few I make. I seem to use other materials now to save my nice tips for screwtip horns.

yeah I should make them out of wood first got lucky with this one , and Tim this was made from the same batch of tips I sold you

Very nice Ed. You could try a small knife file to clean up the threads. Just don't get to froggy

Ron worked them a little bit with a knife file but cheap dies don`t leave good threads to begin with it serves it propose holds all my leather working needles so now they are out of the pill bottle I had them in ,
