Barrel question

For the next project, I have on hand a 13/16's barrel, 35 inches long and the twist (as I've measured it) is 1 turn in 40 inches. Kinda fast for a roundball is what I'm thinking, but I also think that it should be able to shoot relatively well, depending on variables such as charge and patch combo's. Any thoughts on this?

Not bad  if its a small caliber. That's about right for a .36 or .32 caliber. A 1 in 48" is nearly the perfect twist for a .40 caliber, and a 1in 56" is nearly perfect for a .45 caliber. So if the barrel is a smaller caliber, it should be great.

yup - too a 48" twist will actually shoot very well in larger calibres than .50, however I have HEARD they can become more particular as to load than slower twists.  So, if a .50 or even .54 can shoot well in a 48" twist, a .25 to 40 can shoot well in a 40".
