I shot it over the weekend and had some problems with it going off. I started with 50 gr 3F, .535" ball & .018" pillow tick spit patch. That was a little tight for my liking so I switched to a .530" ball. Perfect. I made the gun without a liner which is usually OK but not on this barrel. I added a SS liner and that fixed that. I also was having some problems with the pan not flashing. I put a new sharp flint in with the bevel up instead of my usual bevel down and that cured that. I wasn't shooting for accuracy, just shooting to see how it shoots. However, it was hitting at 11 o'clock about 3" high at 25yds. All in all, I'm plenty pleased with how this gun shoots. Deer season is over so I have a lot of time to get it to shoot where I aim.
