Good video.  I like to cover the edges with ink using a sharpie so I can see where I'm sharpening.

I do the sharpie on the initial sharpening. After I get it about right it doesn't seem to help me that much. I mean, if I am holding the blade correctly the ink is gone almost right away.

I too find those V chisels the most challenging to sharpen, a good video tutorial Paddlefoot. The only way I know to do it right is to go slow and concentrate on all aspects of the sharpening details. A pain in the tail about covers it.  ;)
