Ok, I hate working on pistols!
I've had these parts for about 8 years, kept working on it between builds that I really wanted to do.  Finally, with many mistakes and changes, and kit issues,.....here are the results.
Started out as a MLBS Danish Officers pistol kit.  Ended up like this.
Sugar maple stock, .40 cal oct to round barrel, brass hardware, and a Ditchburn lock.

All of my muzzleloaders will shoot into one ragged hole ALL DAY LONG ... it's just the 2nd or 3rd & other shots that tend to open up my groups ... !

Thanks guys.  Going out Monday to sight her in.
Lots of quality problems on the inletting.  Pretty piece of wood, but a bugger to inlet.  Very hard/soft.
Would much rather build a rifle. 
On to bigger and better things.

Thanks for the pictures, just getting around to finishing the parts I bought for that same pistol, only in a .50 though.

Like you it didn't seem like I wanted to finish it, until now.

Like so many have said...pistols can be much more difficult than rifles/fowlers.  All the fine points crammed into a small space  :)
I think you did a fine job. Have fun shooting it.

Is that a crack at the end of the rang?  I've only built a couple of pistols, they are hard to hold on to while working.  There can be almost as much work on one of them as compared to a rifle.
