dumb question
« on: February 24, 2017, 10:26:05 PM »
Would an L&R Durs Eg  work in a Chambers Late Ketland lock mortise?
I have a stripped broken stock that I could rework into a Plains Indian
cut down blanket gun.   :o

The Durs Egg plate is a little larger, I think than the Late Ketland, so it might cover the inlet.  But it also may be too long to fit inside the panel's moulding extremes.  And the centre of the pan may not align with the vent in your barrel.  Take the images from TOW's catalogue and superimpose them over your rifle.
