Does anyone other than L&R make a LH English style lock?

In the past I made a few LH locks on the L&R parts and maybe someone has
one of those. These are not cheap when and if they do turn up for sale.
I am now winding down my lock work and am taking no new work until
further notice.

You can use the Chambers Gunmakers lock and make one.

There is a commercial LH Late English lock made today. If this is you need, you will have to acquire casting from somewhere like the Rifle Shoppe.

I used the L&R late English on my rifle. Only problem was the frizzen screw kept breaking. I solved by replacing it with a larger screw. My brother has had 2 double barrel flint shotguns made with the same locks. They work fine. All are fast and reliable. I know this is not an answer to your question but they have worked for me. If I decide to make another flintlock that requires a late English lock it will be a L&R with no hesitation.

I really appreciate all the responses. But I'm learning that a lot of builders won't use an L&R or want a large amount of extra money to tune one. I, personally, like L&R locks and have them on two of my guns.

75 people looked at this thread in one day, to see if you posted a picture of a LH English Lock.
LH folks are pretty much SOL unless they can make what they need, in many instances.
