    I purchased a pistol kit from Cabin Creek at last years Lewisburg show. The kit was of high quality and enjoyable to complete. Thanks to those guys!

Nice job.  Hope it shoots as good as it looks.  The wood is really nice, love the color.

Lovely.  The wood color is super.  Aqua Fortis I am guessing?  I like the soft worn feel to the blue, and the not-too-polished brass.  The only thing I would change is the jag on the ramrod.  I think I'd go with something simpler to compliment the rest of the pistol.  Well done.  God Bless,   Marc

54 caliber. The jag came as part of the kit. I used a leather dye stain and a finish that was similar to tru oil but thinner. All white metal was treated with brass antiquing solution rubbed in with scotch pad.
