Here's a picture of my unfinished pistol project.  It's not percussion and I changed the tail a bit, but the internals should be the same.  Hope this helps.

Hi Bob,

What appears to be a screw slot is actually, ooops, a hole thru the plate.  I filed the tail of the lock to make it level with the surrounding wood, but I didn't account for the depth of the notch for the sear spring on the inside of the plate.  I haven't decided whether to have it welded up, or just leave it.  It does make folks wonder.
