Well you old crotchety gunsmith.  I think you're discounting the evidence, particularly the signed Shenefelt rifle that looks exactly like a Shreckengost and they
may have apprenticed at different times, but some day we are going to put this all together with definitive proof.
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

The front looks to be a replacement. There are no punch marks around the base of it.

Not sure what happened to Jammed's post of his rifle so I thought I would revive my post. Jim has a very nice rifle with some nice pictures.
