Great day at the range.

Slightly overcast, great light for iron sights. Had a good five shot group, blew up a bunch of milk jugs shooting off hand at fifty and a hundred.

Good shooting Robby. I got 24 rounds down range today too. Results were as expected. My 62 flinter and some .605 and .610 balls, 20/1000 patch and 110 gr. 1&1/2 swiss. Pretty much dead on at 125 yds. if I do my part. Going after Bear again in Sep. so that load should work.

Crawdad, Rice barrel, Chambers lock, BP/TG from castings, I can't remember where I got them, wood from a tree I had slabbed out, the rest I fashioned. Its a Shuler'esque type gun with some incise carving, modest engraving, the barrel is wedged in with a hooked breach. Give credit where credit is due, those Rice barrels never fail to deliver!
